Day 01 – Arrival in Sri Lanka | Airport to Negombo
Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your representative and transferred to the nearby coastal town of Negombo. Located just a short drive from the airport, Negombo provides the perfect opportunity to relax and recover after your flight.
Depending on your arrival time, take a leisurely stroll along the beach, explore the bustling fish market, or enjoy a peaceful boat ride through the mangrove-lined canals and lagoons that characterize this charming fishing town. As the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, enjoy your first taste of Sri Lanka’s warm hospitality. Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 02 – Negombo to Habarana
After breakfast, journey inland towards Habarana, located at the heart of Sri Lanka’s famous Cultural Triangle. As the scenery changes from coastal landscapes to lush countryside and ancient reservoirs, you’ll begin to experience the island’s rich cultural heritage.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari in Minneriya National Park. Famous for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife, the park offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening by the pool. Overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 03 – Habarana
Rise early this morning for a visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Climb to the summit and witness a spectacular sunrise while admiring panoramic views over forests, lakes, and ancient gardens. Discover the remarkable engineering, architecture, and history behind this extraordinary royal citadel.
Later in the day, immerse yourself in authentic village life with a visit to Hiriwadunna. Enjoy a guided walk through rural landscapes, a traditional catamaran ride across a tranquil lake, and a delicious homemade Sri Lankan lunch prepared by local villagers. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your resort. Overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 04 – Habarana to Kandy
Following breakfast, travel to Kandy, the cultural capital and last royal kingdom of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the magnificent Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, home to centuries-old murals and an impressive collection of Buddhist statues. Continue to a spice garden in Matale, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous spices and traditional Ayurvedic remedies.
Upon arrival in Kandy, enjoy a city tour including a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most revered pilgrimage sites. End the day with a colourful cultural performance featuring traditional Kandyan dances, drumming, and fire walking. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 05 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel through the scenic central highlands towards Nuwara Eliya, affectionately known as “Little England.” Along the way, stop to admire the beautiful Ramboda Waterfall and visit a working tea factory to learn about the production of world-renowned Ceylon Tea.
Surrounded by rolling tea plantations, colonial architecture, and cool mountain air, Nuwara Eliya offers a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the island. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing stroll around Gregory Lake before settling into your hotel. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 06 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Today, experience one of the world’s most scenic train journeys as you travel from Nanu Oya to Ella. Sit back and enjoy breathtaking views of misty mountains, tea plantations, waterfalls, and picturesque villages along the route.
Upon arrival in Ella, visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, one of Sri Lanka’s most photographed landmarks, before continuing to the beautiful Ravana Falls. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this charming hill country town. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 07 – Ella
Start your day with an early morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak, where spectacular sunrise views await. The gentle trek rewards visitors with sweeping vistas across valleys, tea plantations, and surrounding mountains.
Later, experience the thrill of the Flying Ravana Zipline, one of Sri Lanka’s most exciting adventure activities. Day 08 – Ella to Yala
After breakfast, continue your journey towards the wild landscapes of Yala National Park. As the terrain transforms from misty hills to dry forests and open plains, you’ll discover yet another side of Sri Lanka’s incredible diversity.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari through Yala National Park, famous for its abundant wildlife and one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Keep watch for elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, peacocks, and numerous other fascinating species. Overnight stay near Yala.
Day 09 – Yala to Mirissa
Following breakfast, travel along the southern coastline towards Mirissa. En route, visit the spectacular Hummanaya Blowhole, the second-largest natural blowhole in the world, and stop at the famous Coconut Tree Hill, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic coastal viewpoints.
Arrive in Mirissa and spend the remainder of the day relaxing on the beach, enjoying the warm ocean breeze and beautiful tropical surroundings. Overnight stay in Mirissa.
Day 10 – Mirissa
Today is dedicated entirely to family fun and relaxation. Enjoy the beautiful beaches of Mirissa at your own pace. Swim in the crystal-clear waters, try surfing, play beach games, build sandcastles, or simply unwind under the shade of a palm tree.

Day 11 – Mirissa to Bentota
After breakfast, continue along the picturesque southern coast towards Bentota. Along the way, visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Galle Dutch Fort, where centuries of history come alive through its charming cobbled streets, colonial architecture, boutiques, and cafés.
Later, stop at the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project, where you’ll learn about efforts to protect endangered sea turtle species and their nesting habitats. Continue to Bentota and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 12 – Bentota to Colombo
Following a relaxed breakfast, travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant commercial capital. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour exploring the city’s fascinating blend of colonial heritage, modern architecture, bustling markets, and cultural landmarks.
Visit attractions such as Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, and the lively Pettah Market. You will also have time for some last-minute shopping before your journey comes to an end. Overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 13 – Departure
After an unforgettable family adventure across Sri Lanka, it is time to bid farewell to paradise. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
